One-point-four billion people watched the world get rich on a six-inch screen. They are not waiting a generation. Eight vessels for where that appetite goes.
The fourth and final age. The scriptures say dharma stands on one leg, truth grows scarce, and the strong feast on the confusion of the weak. They were not wrong. They were early.
Treasury, and older still — the sheath. The vessel that holds what matters when the age takes everything else. A rajkosh holds a kingdom. A shabdkosh holds a language.
Each theme is a container for one kind of Indian appetite — for strength, for cure, for status, for the everyday, for power, for the fix, for savings, for ground to stand on.
Every holding burns in one of three: SONA, what endures. SATTA, what gambles. AGNI, which consumes all forty and keeps the ash.
In the West, Kalyug looks like nothing meaning anything — so they gamble.
In India it looks like everything being available at once — so they take it. Not that dharma died. That dharma took an EMI.

India is not decaying. It is devouring. Ten-minute delivery became the floor, not the luxury. Protein left the gym and entered the kitchen — orders up 150% in two years, spend tripled. Everyone's cousin has a startup. Appetite arrived before capacity did.
The Kalyug casino has a Bank Nifty weekly expiry. Ninety-one percent lost money. ₹1.05 lakh crore, one year. Twenty-two to thirty-five, tier-2 and tier-3, options learned from a YouTube video and margin funded by a personal loan. An average loss of ₹1.1 lakh is not tuition. It is a savings trajectory bent for years.
Nobody is buying things. Everybody is buying status — and financing it. The gold loan that paid for the wedding. The EMI on the phone. The whey tub beside the protein-fortified atta. Gold-loan books compounding in the mid-thirties because the last asset is now collateral.
While the screen glows, something real is going up. Solar modules from 10 to 26 gigawatts. A ₹9 lakh crore grid plan. Seven-year order books for fighter aircraft. Record railway capex of ₹2.92 trillion. The largest physical buildout in the country's history is happening entirely off-camera — and the same generation punting weekly expiries is welding it together.
Every upgrade has a cost, and this one compounds for thirty years. Diabetes capital of the world. The chronic-care economy is simply the receipt for chapters one through three — arriving, like everything else here, in instalments.
Defence indigenisation. The pit where strength is built, not bought.
Pharma, CDMO, hospitals, diagnostics. The remedy — and the racket.
Premiumisation. Buying the thing to be seen owning the thing.
Mass consumption. India's everyday basket, named for the shop it came from.
Grid, power, and the solar buildout. One word everyone already knows.
